A delightful 5-bedroom ski-in chalet with sauna and optional jacuzzi that sleeps up to 12 people in 5 en-suite bedrooms. Chalet Nesoya is named after a luxury island paradise near Norway’s trendy Oslo and styled with lashings of Verbier alpine chic. Situated at the edge of the forest, numerous beautiful and varied hiking paths leave from the front door of the chalet. The huge, open kitchen / living / dining area has windows on all sides and benefits from magnificent panoramic views of the valley and the mountains beyond. Overlooking the main living area there is a comfortable mezzanine space to relax and enjoy the mountain atmosphere.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

There are five spacious bedrooms that can comfortably sleep up to 12 people. On the downstairs floor there are three double rooms, (each with bathroom featuring bath with overhead shower, sink and WC), and a bunk room with bunk beds for 4 people, TV/play area and ensuite shower room. Upstairs on the main living floor is a fifth bedroom with twin beds and an en-suite shower room. If you wish to travel with children under 2 years old, just let us know and we will provide a cot and a high chair in your chalet.

The kitchen is fully fitted to meet the needs of cooking for large groups, including a large central island, fridge, oven and hob. There is a dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee-machine, plus fondue and raclette sets for a traditional Swiss evening in front of the log fire. Washing machine, dryer, hairdryer, iron and portable outdoor barbecue are all available for you to use.

Relax in the sauna or your en-suite bath tub after a hard day on the slopes, or soothe your aching muscles in the optional jacuzzi on the terrace and listen to the birdsong from the nearby forest. You can relax in front of the fire and watch one of the many DVDs on the flat-screen from the comfortable sofas in the living room, but you’ll have to try not to be distracted by the beautiful and ever-changing views that can be seen from every angle. On a blue-sky day, the view stretches 20km, up to the peaks of the Haut de Cry and the Mont Gond, and in the other direction up to the Vallon d’Arby from where good skiers can ski home to the door. Children will love their bunk room as it is kitted out with toys & games including a television and computer games.

The chalet is equipped with free, high-speed WIFI for your own private use.

Optional jacuzzi

The outdoor hot-tub is available for an additional 300 CHF per reservation, payable in cash on arrival. Please note that where it was rented by the previous clients, we will change 100% of the water on the day of their departure, clean it and refill it with cold tapwater before treating it with sanitising products. This means that the jacuzzi may not be at full operating temperature until the morning after your arrival.

We would be delighted to welcome your pets to Chalet Nesoya. Please note that in order to cover supplementary cleaning costs, pets are charged at a rate of 3 CHF per day payable on arrival. If you are travelling with more than one large or two small dogs, please contact us to ensure we will be able to accommodate them.

Parking for 2 or 3 cars near to the chalet. Winter tyres and/or snow chains required in winter due to steep access road. Contact us for railway or airport transfers.

The chalet is only 500m from the ski-route that follows the main road to the Etablons apres-ski bar and joins the main piste down to the telecabin. This ski-route is suitable for all except complete beginners, who would need to walk or drive to the beginners ski area at the Etablons apres-ski bar. The modern, high-speed telecabin carries you from La Tzoumaz up to the top of the Savoleyres in less than 8 minutes, from where you can decide to ski back on the quiet La Tzoumaz slopes or ski down to Verbier’s legendary slopes and world-class off-piste opportunities in the vast 4-Valleys ski area. In good conditions, good skiers will be able to follow the tracks across the countryside to ski-in to the chalet at the end of the day.

We are very pleased to announce that we offer discounted ski-passes to everyone staying with us. To be eligible for the 10% discount, ski-passes must be ordered and paid in full 12 days in advance of your first ski day. We accept all major credit cards. Orders received up to 2 days in advance are not eligible for the 10% discount however they will be printed for collection with your keys when you arrive in the resort. Last minute orders will be available for collection on the morning after you arrive. Discounted passes are available for all age-groups, for durations from one half-day up to 21 days, and cover the Savoleyres, Verbier or 4-Valleys sectors. The discount does not apply to the insurance options available. Ski-passes can neither be cancelled nor exchanged once they have been ordered. The discount is applicable in high, medium and low season and also applies to family rates.  It is not cumulative with any other offers or reductions. On arrival in the resort we will also provide you with discount vouchers for various other services, such as ski equipment rental.

In summer, the area turns into a hiking and mountain biking paradise, with hundreds of kilometres of marked trails criss-crossing the mountains, awash with alpine flowers and a range of wildlife to spot. The “Bisses” are relatively flat footpaths that follow the water as it trickles around the mountainsides, where for centuries farmers and villagers channelled the streams for their own uses. They have been preserved now and can be an incredible way to spend a day or more on easy hikes with stunning views across the Rhone Valley or over to the Massif des Combins. We’ll provide you with plenty of tourist information including our favourite suggestions for day trips that are easily reachable from La Tzoumaz, from spectacular gorge walks, cheese factories and roman festivals to rainy-day ideas such as underground lake tours. The road that winds up the mountain-top to the panoramic Croix-de-Coeur Cafe-Restaurant opens as soon as the snow melts and from here you can continue the drive (or cycle) all the way down into Verbier.

In the peak summer season from early July to late August, the telecabin link to Verbier operates daily from 08:45 to 12:30 and from 13:30 to 16:45, meaning that you can easily access the famous resort as a pedestrian or accompanied by your bicycle. You can even use a variety of mountain lifts to make your way up to Mont Fort at 3300m for Europe’s highest fondue and incredible mountain panoramas that include Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn. Don’t miss the Swiss National Celebrations in La Tzoumaz on August 1st, or the famous festival of live music performances, the Verbier Festival, which runs from mid-July to the beginning of August.

Beautiful chalet with fantastic views. We stayed as a family of six, including two teenagers. The chalet was absolutely stunning and the views were like nothing we have ever seen before, just amazing. The chalet was well equipped and very clean. The jacuzzi and sauna was an absolute joy to experience each evening. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, including additional items not usually found in holiday accomodation such as scales, juicing equipment and so forth. The wifi signal was excellent and we never had any issues with connection. The area was lovely and quiet a perfect retreat. Lots of walks available with fantastic paths and well signposted. Local supermarket 15 minutes walk away (or 2 minute drive) which is open each morning in the summer ( uphill walk on the way back so allow more time). Overall, we really did enjoy our stay and the kids didn't want to leave. It is definitely a place in which I would love to return. Many thanks for a marvellous holiday experience! Fantastic and well equipped chalet The chalet was really amazing. The best facts were that each bedroom has it´s own bathroom, outdoor jacuzzi, new well equipped and nice interior, classical sauna - not infrasauna. For a group of 11 people still lot of space. The only thing that can be improved is the parking place, which is not situated at the chalet but several meters on share road. I would definitely recommend this chalet for a great holiday. Big thanks to Anna & Percy, who were always reachable and ready to help not only during the stay, but also before, during and after the whole reservation proces. Pick up and return of the keys was very guick, kind working stuff in the office. Review Submitted: Feb 15, 2017 Date of Stay: Jan 2017 Source: HomeAway By: Michal M., Czech Republic

Top quality chalet This chalet is beautiful on the inside and out. The main living areas are very stylish and welcoming combining good looks with all the essentials for modern living. A well thought through kitchen, great dining area and luxurious seating area are all framed by wonderful views of the mountains from the large frame windows. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very comfortable and the sauna and hot tubs add a splash of decadence. A very happy stay here. Best Chalet I have stayed in in Switzerland Newly refurbished with the most amazing 270 degree views whether that's from the kitchen window, the massive terrace or the hot tub. The main living area is upstairs and benefits from a significant amount of natural light. The decor is cool eclectic with much better furniture than a standard chalet. As the renovation work has just been completed, everything works. It is hard to think of a criticism expect that maybe the access is a small path but then that adds to the charm. Had a great time ! Very nice, top equipped chalet in fantastic mountain scenery The house is generously cut and well suited for a maximum of 9 adults. The interior furnishings and equipment is very high quality. The large living, kitchen, dining area with gallery is very nicely designed. The predominant use of wood provides for a great living atmosphere. It is missing (hardly anything). 3 bedrooms are not very large, but there is enough space. The shopping possibilities are very limited and can only be reached by car. équipement indispensable) - l absence de parking dédié au chalet Review Submitted: Mar 22, 2016 Date of Stay: Mar 2016 Source: HomeAway By: Nicolas B.

Perfect skiing vacation in the Chalet Nesoya With a group of nine persons we experienced a fantastic skiing vacation in the Chalet Nesoya. The Chalet was equipped with everything we needed. For us the highlights of the Chalet were the sauna, the fireplace which made our evenings very cosy and the great view from the Chalet into the surrounding area. The Chalet is embedded in a beautiful landscape. Also we would like to emphasize the outstanding support of the property managers Anna and Percy who were always reachable and helped us with everything we needed (e.g. skipasses). Both of them were essential to make these holidays one of the best we ever had. We would recommend the Chalet Nesoya 100% for a great vacation in La Tzoumaz. A big thank you to the owner of the Chalet and to Anna & Percy! Review Submitted: Jan 12, 2016 Date of Stay: Dec 2015 Source: HomeAway By: Christer J.

La Tzoumaz

La Tzoumaz

The 4-Valleys is one of the largest interconnected ski-areas in Europe, with lifts linking La Tzoumaz to Verbier, Nendaz, Veysonnaz and Thyon.  Altogether there are over 400km of pistes that cater for different levels of skiers.  Beginners can follow long gentle trails (which in Switzerland are marked out in blue instead of green or blue) that wind around the mountainside, never going too steeply.  Intermediates benefit from many long reds pistes, with up to 1,800m of height change between the top and the bottom of the lifts.  For experts, not only are there numerous steep black runs, but also clearly-marked yet un-pisted yellow itinerary routes, where the snow conditions will test your skills to the full.  There is a vast expanse of off-piste skiing where the local guides can show you how to access the freshest powder and the famous routes that include those used during the World Freeride Championships.

We love the fact that we are just next door to Verbier.  We don’t promise to offer you lots of trendy resort bars and restaurants within walking distance of your chalet, but in the daytime our high-speed telecabin links you to the resort of Verbier, its mountain restaurants and its vast skiing network known as the Four Valleys.  We can even arrange for you to spend the night partying in Verbier and shuttle you home when dawn breaks or when you are ready for sleep.  Here’s a glimpse of what is out there:
